The Tradition Begins Here!
|
At KYA, we strive to help our kids develop into positive, productive teens and young adults through participation in organized sports. We are the "Feeder System" to the KISD Football Athletic Program. We stress sportsmanship, teamwork, self-confidence, self-discipline and healthy competition helping to prepare our kids for scholastic sports and life in general. These positive characteristics can be learned through participation in organized league play at KYA.
Our Fall Football Program accommodates ages 5 through 12 (no seventh graders since they will participate in KISD Football). Ages are determined as of August 1st. The following is a list of our Divisions:
|
Ages 5 – 6 Flag Division
Ages 7 – 8 Bantam Division
Ages 9 – 10 Junior Division
Ages 11 – 12 Senior Division
|
Our Fall Registration begins in early May. Grass Drills will be in late August with the Draft typically being toward the end of August first of September. Practices begin in early September. The Season runs from late September through early Late November with the Playoffs, Super Bowl and Pro Bowls running through mid December.
